Canada Increases Immigration Targets for 2024-2025

Express Entry Draws Resume with Increased CRS Cut-Off

After a temporary pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Express Entry draws have resumed with a higher Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score. The latest draw, held on July 6, 2022, invited 1,500 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 557.

This increase in the cut-off score is attributed to the large pool of highly skilled candidates in the Express Entry system. Prospective immigrants are advised to continue working on improving their CRS scores to increase their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
